2024-2025 Youth Ambassador
We are thrilled to announce that the Tlingit Haida Washington Chapter/Seattle
Community Council is opening applications for our Youth Ambassador! This is an
incredible chance for our talented youth to actively engage in tribal governance and
gain valuable insights into our rich cultural heritage.
🗓️ Application Period: March 1st – March 22nd 😃 Eligibility: Open to individuals aged 18-25, enrolled in Tlingit and Haida and registered to the Seattle voting community.
As a Youth Ambassador, you’ll have the unique opportunity to work alongside
delegates, contributing your perspectives and learning firsthand about tribal
governance, tribal leadership, committees, and mentorship.
Key Dates:
● Application Opens: March 1st
● Application Closes: March 22nd
● Ambassador Announced: March 29th
● Tribal Assembly in Juneau: April 17-19
